  • Common Names: Fabian Stump

  • Description: The Fabian Stump is a species of evergreen shrub with dark green leaves on a strong woody trunk. Originally from the tropical Pacific Islands, this plant thrives indoors and outdoors in warmer climates. Also used as Bonsai, this tree-like shrub grows vertically up to 8 feet! 

How to care:

  • Light: Aralia houseplants can survive in low light conditions, but grow faster and produce more leaves in medium to bright indirect light. 
  • Pet Friendly:  No
  • Water: In low light conditions, an Aralia may need water as little as every 2-3 weeks. Too much water, resulting in root rot, is the main reason Aralia plants die. Allow the top 50% of the soil to dry out before watering.
  • Humidity: High
  • Temperature: Aralia houseplants prefer temperatures between 60°-85° F.
  • Difficult Level: Medium
